One of the aspects of landscape that I enjoy exploring both photographically and in my ceramic wall pieces is the conjunction between near and far. I am also intrigued by the way the human eye reads a scene and the way the camera captures it.
“We never look at just one thing; we are always looking at the relationship between things and ourselves. Our vision is constantly active, continually moving, continually holding things in a circle around itself, constituting what is present to us as we are.”
