Wall pieces

Inspired by a range of references, primarily from the natural world and from my landscape photographs.

Constructed in paper clay, using a patchwork-like technique of assembling textured surfaces, and painted with oxides and underglaze colours which  give a delicate watercolour-like effect.

These pieces are mounted and framed; the open box-frame allows the texture and surface of the piece to be seen.
